Class Description
The Basics of Photography and Beyond is for persons who are proficient with their camera, but, who would love to go beyond the basics and advance to the next level beyond “snapshots”. In this course, students will study in depth, the two basic elements of any photo image, namely light (with corresponding shadow) and composition. With a better understanding of these two elements, the class will then examine the more complicated aspects of making better images. By the end of this course, students should be well-prepared to create good photographs. In this course, Vanderpool shares his unique approach to developing creative thinking for writers and photographers with a series of exercises that demonstrate how "1,000 Pictures Are Worth A Word"...
