Introductory Wheel

Class Description

This class is geared toward the beginner with no wheel throwing experience. Emphasis will be on learning the basic techniques of wheel throwing pottery. Wedging, throwing the basic shapes of the cylinder, hemisphere, and horizontal flat shapes will be covered. Basic glazing techniques will also be covered. The class is seven weeks and includes open studio. The cost of the class includes all clay and glazes used during the class.
