Martin McDonald Gallery
My work is an investigation of how our understanding of world is framed by personal experiences. I seek to offer another way of seeing landscape by expressing it through clay objects. The tactile beauty of natural, organic objects is always a source of my inspiration. The forms, textures, patterns and colors I encounter in my daily life constantly provide me creative ideas. Through the investigation of these visual materials, I try to redefine the everyday mundane through ceramic sculptural forms, as well as to free myself from the bondage of the ordinary life.
